Six Ealing GC players took part in one of the new C-Level golf tournaments at Surbiton on 12 April, in unseasonably dank weather.
The water-logged grass proved extremely challenging to those accustomed to the excellent drainage at Lammas Park. Nevertheless after a series of rounds, semi-finals and a nailbiting final, Ruth Sisley made it through the mud to win the tournament, with Bridget Goodman taking third place.
