Ealing Croquet Club

Our matches against Hampstead are always eagerly awaited, and this year’s proved no exception. It was great to catch up with some old friends, and the croquet was closely contested.

Ealing took a narrow 2-1 lead into lunch, when Hampstead played their usual joker by plying us with some fine wines. This had the desired effect, as they won the afternoon singles 3-1, to emerge overall winners by 4 games to 3.

The highlight for Ealing was Adrian Cunliffe winning both his games, on his first appearance of the year.
