Ealing Croquet Club

Keen naturalists visiting the Roehampton Club on Wednesday 7th November would have been able to spot an increasingly frequent visitor to the nation’s lawns: the non-hibernating croquet player. Ealing Croquet Club were invited to play a friendly on Roehampton’s recently installed floodlit lawn. Play started at 5pm and lasted approximately two and a half hours. The result appears to have been a 3-1 win for Ealing. We were then entertained to an excellent dinner by our hosts. Many thanks to Roehampton for their hospitality – it was a thoroughly enjoyable occasion which we hope will be repeated.
