Ealing Croquet Club

In the Hurlingham Weekend Association Croquet Level Advanced Tournament held on 4-6 May, Simon Tuke and Tony Elliott were both runners-up in their respective blocks. Simon had five wins out of seven, while Tony had an impressive six wins out of seven, both receiving the coveted Hurlingham glassware, seen here being presented by Nigel Polhill. The rain on Bank Holiday Monday apparently made for interesting playing conditions, in which the geese seemed more at home.
